 Do you know the most expensive coffee all over the world?
Maybe you might think a brand coffee of Italy.
But the most expensive coffee is produced only in Indonesia.
 
This is Palm Civet eating coffee beans.

The name is Kopi Luwak. 
Kopi Luwak is a representative coffee in Indonesia. 
The Kopi Luwak is also called as Civet coffee. Because Palm Civet eats coffee beans and the coffee beans are passed through disestive organs of Palm Civet. Then they are come out of the cat and are made to coffee. Although Palm Civet eats coffee beans, they are not digested and excreted.
 
This is the excretion of coffee beans.

So the color of coffee beans become rich caused chemical action.
The flavor of the Copi Luwak is less bitter and a little bit sour including caramel, chocolate and grass scent. 
 
 
Kopi Luwak costs from $120 to $600 per a pound and is usually sold at Japan and U.S. 
The expensive price is because the amount of Kopi Luwak is about 1000puond, very a little.
 
A cafe named Heritage Tea Rooms in state of Queensland, Austraila sells a cup of Kopi Luwak at about U.S.$45. Only 4cups are sold in a week. And a restaurant in London also sells Kopi Luwak named Caffe Raro at about U.S.$82.
